THE
SEARS DRUG CATALOGUE COVER print
Ah, those days before the FDA when things like safety and addiction were just fodder for the yellow press. Sears even got into the act for a while, and in 1902 offered their version of nearly every available patent medicine in a dandy catalogue that continues to simultaneously mystify and enlighten. Just what is a "French Injection?" Here is the cover to that catalogue, suitable for framing, ressurected and redrawn by Jim Middleton from the original that had become home to a nest of mice. Once you get the signed print, you'll need the complete catalogue reprint, of course...and gee, that item is also available from the Animating Apothecary! What a deal!
